Pumpkin Pie Shake

I had a partial can of pumpkin pie filling and I did not know what to do with it.  I was looking through a magazine and came upon an idea.... Pumpkin Pie Shake!  The recipe that ignited my idea was not a shake --- but, I altered it to make even yummier!




1/2+ cup canned pumpkin pie puree
1 cup vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup apple cider
1/2 cup milk
healthy shake of cinnamon
3 TB maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup ice

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon, if desired.

Everyone loved this and said it tasted like pumpkin pie! 

It was definitely a good use of extra pumpkin.
